Un mago y una pandilla. Los cuentos tienen como protagonistas a los integrantes de una divertida pandilla: Ana, Maite, Isabel, Mateo, Santi y su perrita Luna, quienes conocen a un mago, Gaspar, que los introduce en un mundo fantástico en el que pueden movilizarse. Así, visitan espacios lejanos y tiempos pasados donde viven todo tipo de aventuras.

Si bien los relatos pueden usarse para el simple disfrute de su lectura o para ser trabajados en el área de lengua, fueron concebidos como una posible "puerta de entrada" para la enseñanza de los contenidos que integran el área de ciencias sociales.
